Mattone is a modular typeface inspired by the terracotta brick architecture typical of the city of Urbino. Its formal system draws from the rounded and flattened semicircular arches (’Archi a tutto sesto’ and ‘a sesto ribassato’) characteristic of the city's Renaissance architecture.
